Micro Cube or Micro Cube RX

I'm getting a beginner electric guitar setup.

The yamaha pacifica 112 looks like the guitar to go for.
A shame that it isn't in metallic orange anymore.

For the amp the micro cube looks good, but does anybody have any opinions on the micro cube rx?
It's the new version and it doesn't seem to have been around for too long as there aren't many reviews of it on the net.
It seems to be an improvement on the original with an extra metal amp model, equalizer, drum machine, chromatic tuner etc.
Not sure if having more but smaller speakers is better or not.
But the price difference is huge, original cube is around 80 euro and the rx is 180.

Am I missing something or is it horribly over priced compared to the original?

If you are playing at home the original is what you want. (or a Vox DA5)
AFAIK the RX is a much bigger yoke for buskers.

Yes it's just going to be at home.
I've had a look at the DA5 too, not bad, the cube seems to have more fans though.
    So many choices :pac:

I think I'll forget about the RX at least.

I haven't seen the RX in any shops yet to try it out. I'd love to see what it's like. What different features does it have other than the speaker configuration?

Its a good step up from the original volume wise, its also a lot clearer when youre playing chords. Its almost the size of the cube 15 though, it aint so micro anymore.
