Shimmering/Glittering Spray for Hair?

    Hi there,

I am looking for a shimmering spray for hair. I have no idea where I saw it but thought it was super cool. I have quite light hair so often can't make my hair a feature.

It would be great that when I move my hair will shimmer/glitter.

    Any ideas?

    Any alternative ideas?

    Thanks.

I think Claire's Accessories do a glitter hairspray.

Nicky Clarke has one in a red bottle, its called SAlon or something, not sure, but a shimmering hair spray is available along with other styling products in that range.

John Frieda does one for blonde hair, and I think Lee Stafford does too. I also think BedHead do one, I had a small bottle from a giftset, and it was great, shimmery but not too sparkly. Cant recall name tho.

    Hope this helps.

BTW the Nicky Clarke one I saw in Tescos - bottles of that styling range are all red, and in around the €6 mark

Is this the stuff that was popular a few years back? I'd say somewhere like Boots would be your best bet. Some hair products, particularly for blonde hair, have built in shimmer.

I was bumming from work and paid an extended visit to Boots..but no joy my fellow boardsters.

I was very disappointed....but maybe it was the Boots that I tried..most were just voluminising (oops spelling! Friday sunshine going to my head!).

I'll give Claires and Boots another try and report back. It's always good to know if things work or don't. (sorry to hear that Nightwish).

Didn't realise that it was popular a few years ago...omg...am I out of date or am I coming back into fashion?!! ;)

It's the multi-coloured glitter stuff that was popular a few years ago but reading over your post I don't think that's what you're looking for. Did you look at the John Frieda range? Some of the products have light enhancers which have a subtle shimmer effect.

Hi Pigletlover - I was away for a few days - missed so much on the boards. ahh!!!

I didn't notice anything in the John Frieda range. I'll definitely check it out...I'm in town tomorrow.

Cheers - maybe my light hair will take centre stage soon!
