    I've liked em for a fair while now. As well as the three early albums that have been mentioned I loved Sex, Love and Rock 'n' Roll too, brilliant album.

    Think there's a new one due this year as well iirc but I could be wrong...

    Yeah some of the solo stuff is cool. The Mainliner demo is excellent, their first release I think.

    They can be quite over-rated though. I don't know if i'd be bothered seeing them live.

    Yeah I thought Sex,Love ... was great,kinda like more pop/rock then there early punk stuff but deadly especially "Faithless"

    Id love to see them live but I dnt think theyd ever head over this side, I was in NY last year n dey were playin in LA then i went to LA n they were playin in NY :(

    I like Social Distortion's Mommys Little Monster. Other original southern Californian punk bands you might like as well are the Vandals (when in Rome/Peace through vandalism), Adolescents (self titled album), T.S.O.l (Dance with me), D.I. (Horse bites Dog cries).

    Also Social Distortion seem to play a lot of big festivals around Europe in recent years.

    Yeah funny story I was trying to find a song by Smash Mouth called "Story Of My Life" & ended up with the Social Distortion song instead now iv all their albums & all of Mike Ness's solo stuff ...... OK maybe thats not a funny story but it is a story
