I only came across this recently. basically a person going through a traumatic experience. Comes out of it only to find weeks later seeing themselfs going through it. Basically a replay.

First thing i thought was, it was down to the trauma playing with their mind. But other people also witnessing the same thing.

    Anybody heard of this ?

I dont i just heard somebody talking about it breifly on a podcast. Its basically a residual haunting . It got me thinking , there are no rules to say the person has to be dead to haunt somewere residually .
i just wanted to see if anybody has come across it before .

I've never heard of people seeing the "ghost" of themselves but ghosts of the living is well known. Sure its possible I picked up on a living person the other night at the investigation. Look at crisis apperitions.

    I know the answer,

Monkeyfudge saw a man in a haunted location during an investigation, the compound was locked and the place was said to be haunted, the possibility that it was a ghost was considered. Turns out it was a squatter as we found him later on.

Before that 6th did remark on picking up on a squatter about 40 YOA and it was very recent.

So there is a squatter living there and he is about 40 and he is alive and reported as being crazy.

Well my father used to be a sales rep. He'd drive around different towns all over the country.

One time he was driving along a country road and saw a girl he recognised from one of the chemists he dealt with lying in a ditch with two guys with bikes looking down over her.. and the next instant the sight of this was gone.

A week later he was in the chemist where she worked and she had her arm in a large brace. He said he knew exactly what happened to her and that he was driving along last week and saw her in the ditch after falling off her bike.

She said it had happened yesterday and got pissed off at him for not pulling over to help.

So it's in your blood now too, it's all coming together, have you openly discussed your new powers on boards yet?

When people have gone on investigations or (just stumble accross) they have come accross what we sometimes call recordings of an event, and we tend to put these events down as been traumatic or sufficently strong enough events in that person(s) life to leave its print within that atmoshphere, so it could be possible, if the conditions or the person was senistive or open at that point and time to see their own recording if you will. I wonder if because it was more of a recent event would the recording be stronger and more clearer than those events left over a long period of time???

Yeah but in Daddyfudges case he gained 6 days, so the gift is in him.

Point taken on the recent impression idea though, if it is a valid theory then this would be a logical conclusion to arrive at.

He also got questioned by the Special Branch for having prior knowledge of Nelson's Column being blown up... but that's another story.

I think everybody had prior knowledge that was going to happen .

My mother often tells me the story of something that happened to her when she was young... She was babysitting for a neighbour of hers and she slept in the spare room, she woke up during the night to find a little boy and girl staring down at her looking very sad, it wasn't the kids she was babysitting as they were only babies, and were asleep in their rooms.. Anyway after some digging she found out that there was a family who lived there years before and the mother was found dead in her bed, by her son and daughter.. Only the kids weren't dead, they were grown up and living somewhere else.. She reckons what she saw was a 'stain' that was left on the room from the grief that the kid's felt when they found their mother dead..
