Bought Tikka t3 laminate stainless from Paul O'Halloran in Drangan for 875 last year. He is always cheaper than everyone else and I did a lot of ringing around.

Jeezes Banger, that's good value. Looking at the prices mentioned above here it's worth going through the hassle of getting importation licences.

You can buy abroad, but when your local gunshop goes out of business where will you get your Ammo.

The cost base of doing business in ireland, the VAT rate etc is such that it will always be cheaper in other markets.

new were talking ! the sportsman is making there cut and happy with it why should we pay 170 plus on a firearm only costing 730

The Sportsmans is a very big operation and is either getting a volume discount or they simply undercut all the others. Either way they are able to make a small margin due to large volume.

So we have to be happy to pay extra. Why ? Why would you pay more than you'd have to ?
