Started to play some golf recently and am really enjoying it! I think it's time I stopped using my grans old clubs and got myself a set. Just looking around the net at and saw these and was just wondering what you think of them(which ones would be best and which ones I should avoid at all costs!!). Any help would be appreciated as I'm a bit lost! Thanks.

any of the above should be fine.
Also try your local pro shop for a decent second hand set of clubs.

Whats your budget and we can help you more??

Thanks jonny. I was hoping to spend about 200quid but would probably stretch to 300 if it would mean I'd be getting better clubs.

Do you reckon there'd be much difference between the cheaper and more expensive clubs I've mentioned above? Would it be worth paying out for the dearer ones in your opinion?

    Hi,

Theres a few sets on adverts.ie that you could look at.
The best advice though is to go into a shop and try some out. Then check the price of the ones you like online or up north.

A half decent set shouldnt cost much more than 200E. If your budget stretches to 300 you could get a decent enough set.

Before you buy post here and get everyones opinion!

Yeah, i gto a set of cheap dunlops in Heatons and I played with taylormades less than amonth later and the better brand clubs do differ.
If you can splash the cash then you are sound.

For around 300 you could get a set of Hippo clubs which are mid-range which should suit you for a good while.
