    Beer to Meal Intake

Seeing as there was a few threads about this, it got me thinking. I'm regularly out on an all day session like most brothers. You start off nice and early, say about 11 for the early games on the weekend, and continue into the wee small hours of the night. I have one mate, he's a bit old school, and he always throws out the phrase, eating is cheating. So the rest of us lads have to take turns at sneaking out of the pub just to get some grub in or he'll never leave it down. Good thing is we are well steamed by this stage and he doesn't notice someone missing.

So this means we have the brekkie around 11, a sneak meal between 5 and 7, and something for the way home. I'm never satisfied with this however, I think I need at least one, if not two more meal intakes.

So brothers what would be your typical beer to meal intake on a good session?
And does anyone know of anyone else who believes eating is cheating. He's from the backend of Kerry which may explain some of this!

Ideally? it'd be pretty much constant eating while drinking. i get the munchies after two mouthfuls and it lasts till i fall asleep whenever we finish

This is all wrong. dont you know the No. 1 rule of all day sessions?

    Rule 1. Eating is cheating.

Its a well known phrase, but one I wouldn't be too fond of as the earlier thread today will show. I know people that actually can't eat when they're out on the lash because they claim their puny stomachs are too full from beer, so I think its just them trying to ruin it for everyone else to cover their own failings

We as the BG massive, should be in favour of eating while drinking, on the proviso that it doesn't waste time that could be better spent drinking. Luckily I can multitask both at once. Doing so helps achieve a higher quantity of ale intake, which can only be a good thing.

PS Mairt, in the other locked thread, I don't have photos at hand, but to illustrate how it came about I should mention that after one all day session I consumed two Supermacs Snack boxes, and after another I ate 4 breasts in a bun from HillBillys Cork. I've probably beaten both these records though, sometime when I've been completely ratar$ed and just can't remember it.

Bollocks. More food = more beer. Simple as.

If I don't eat, the more light-headed i get on the sauce. Eat a bit, and then one can imbibe more. Even a few dry-roasted thrown into the mix can sort the ned kelly out.

Eating just makes sense as is allows you to keep going longer. Add in the fact that eating will replenish all kinds of things that alchohol will cost you and it means you can wake up the next day to drink more.

I think i need to go back on the booze to show some of you how it's done.:D

Thats what we need, a boards barbeque. with buckets of food to compliment buckets of beer.

Then i help get Dragan back in the swing of things.

Coz there's nothing i like more than dragging people down to my level

I just checked my weekly number of alcohol units and it had more units than my ESB bill.
Can I get some sort of discount?
