OK so if you where on the island who would you trust?

Also on the flip side who would you not trust at all? I had this discussion with a few mates of mine and was surprised by some of the answers.

Trust: I'd have to say Sayid. He seems the most trustworthy out of all of em all.

Distrust: BEN! I mean.....it's Ben. Also Locke. Don't want to end up like Boone and Eko.

I would have to go with trusting Sayid. A few weeks back I would have said no way would I trust Ben but now I am not so sure. I definately wouldnt trust Locke.

    You'd trust Ben before Locke?

I have had a mistrust of jack since episode 1, and the recent interview that reveals he knows the end of lost makes me distrust him even more.
Jack is much more than meets the eye.

I would trust ben, he clearly wants what is best for the island and being on that islandi would not to return to this **** hole of a world we/you all live in. Id stay on the island and ben is the one who can make that happen.

Hurley and Locke seem to be the least disingenous of the main characters

Is it Jack or Matthew Fox that you don't trust?

Sayid seems to have the most integrity as all the other main characters have back stabbed someone at sometime or another. So I guess Sayid would be most trustworthy. But thats no saying much.

Maybe Desmond also, but he's a bit of a loony. Same goes for Hurley.

Defo wouldn't trust Ben, Locke, Kate, Juliet, Jin or Sawyer.

Assuming that I really wanted to leave the island then I'd be Jacks YesMan -He's the only one who has consistently had getting off the island at the top of his agenda.

I'd thrust it into Kate if I ever got the chance.

EDIT: Oh, sorry, trust... Has to be Sayid or Jack.

Depends what you mean by trust.

If it is about having a clear agenda Jack is top of the list. He wants to get off the island and is very clear about it, but he will lie and manipulate to do this. He is the anti-Ben. The only other priority he has is Kate's safety.

Ben has also a very clear agenda he is for himself and the island, however nothing he says can be taken at face value he is a manipulator and a liar and considering he has way more knowledge of the island he holds all the aces.

Sayid is very blunt and forthright. He tells the truth most often. But this mightn't be to your advantage on the island as he will tell the truth to good guys and bad guys alike.

Wouldn't trust Kate, Sawyer or Juliet as they don't know what they want, is a conman and have ulterior motives respectively.

Hurley and Claire are also fairly trustworthy in that they will answer any question put to them.

Locke is someone who like Ben has a goal and will do pretty much anything to accomplish it. However his goal has changed a number of times over the course of the series and he is not very forthcoming in terms of spelling out his goal at any particular time so you couldn't place much trust in him.

If Claire has to screw you over to protect her baby she will. So I wouldn't trust her.

But you could say that about all mothers, I don't think she has any negative motives..

I'd trust Hurley, Jin or Sayid most.

But if simply staying alive was my #1 priority, I'd trust Richard most!!! :D

    Or Jacob... :pac:
