I see this TV - Panasonic TH50PX70PED - for 1,150euro from Richer Sounds.

I could not find much in the way of reviews after a quick google, so just wondering what folks think of the TV, and the price.

    Opinions welcome.

Actually dropped the PED off the model number, and have now found some more reviews online. In general seems to have gotten great reviews in terms of value for money, however only missing noted was it was not 1920 x 1080, only 1366 x 768.

Still for just over 1000euro........feels like a bargain, no ?

yes I think it is a bargain. Dunnes were selling them a week or so ago for around the same price...dont know if they have any left though.

Im considering this or the 46PZ80..i'd like to see em both side by side tho!

Wow, thanks, didn't know Dunnes had been doing them. Just came across this, and thought it seemed somewhat of a bargain alright.

well i dove in and went for the TH 50PX70 (couldnt justify a 1080p screen tbh) delivery from richersounds was €60 (great considering komplett charge at least €130 for deliver bah)

sitting back about 12 feet from it the HD is excellent running my 360 off it. alot better than my previous sony rear projection. the SD is not as good though but still not bad. happy out :)
