Airsoft Photos on Flickr,

I had a thought when searching through my puter for pics today, theres always a load of people taking photos at the weekend games, events etc but we hardly ever see the pics afterwards, (galway gathering for instance) So i set up this flickr group for airsofters in ireland to upload their photos,.
you can upload them to here and you dont have to clutter up memory cards etc with them since the site stores the original file and size ect., its also very handy for hosting pics for you to link to forums and stuff afterwards.,

sign up people., and lets see what pics ya got.,

BAH. Photobucket is the way for me. Very simple and quick. About GTAC, just finished a DVD so I'll finish the gathering stuff in the next week XD

yeah i have photobucket too., the point being though that we all upload to the same place and then only have one place to go to see everyones photos.,:)

oh yeah pro account users have unlimited but regular ones get 100mb a month i think., i think the best thing to do is to resize the pics to 1000pixels width from their original size, that way their still a nice size but the file size will be a lot smaller.,:)

cant seem to find ya on flickr with that name actually, if ya click the link in the first post in here or in my sig, it'll take ya to the group, just click "join" then and you'll be in.,:)
when you want to add a photo just go into that photo and theres little icons above the pic, click the "send to group" one and select "IrishAirsoft" and it'll go in.,

you can add them to the group too evolute, you just have to click the "send to group" button over each pic and select the irish airsoft group in the list.,:)

Can my photobucket be used in the flickr group or do I have to re-upload everything?
Can I transfer the files or is it a matter or uploading from my computer again, I really wish it wasn't but I'm sure its the case.

motosam: yeah you'll have to upload them again but you can download a tool for naming and tagging them on the puter before they are uploaded and then it'll just add them to your album by itself while you do whatever else you like.,

Wow, over a year since I posted this, doesnt seem that long.

I've been keeping it updated with pics ever since and I have just added a load of photo's from Rathbeggan last week, i only knew 1 or 2 of the lads but you might be able to pick yourself out in the pics.

It was pointed out to me that a lot of the photo's aren't visible to everyone, If you join the group these will all be visible. I have changed the privacy settings on all the recent uploads so they can be viewed by all but i dont have the time to go all the way back through them, theres over 1600 photo's in there.

Is there anyway on Flickr you can group videos in one folder and photos in the other?

It would make it easier to browse through if your just looking for videos or photos ?
