im not sure of the ammo prices fish but that twist rate is okay for 40 grain through to 55 grain ammo, handloaders elsewhere would use 40 grain
v max and 45 grain hornet, 50 ,52 , 53 , and 55 grain heads for the 22-250 although the hornet heads would only be loaded to 3600 ft/sec as the jacket is too thin for faster velocities.
factory ammo will probably be 50 and 55 grain off the shelf in ireland.
    40 grain v max in the 22-250 can reach over 4000 ft/sec.

From what i've experienced with different .224 cal centerfires (and from reading up on the topic), 52gr pills are the awesomely accurate when lanched at 3800 ft/sec plus from a 1 in 14 twist barrel.

I would'nt have clue as to the current price of 22.250 ammo though, sorry:)
