Is it true that over-exercising causes cellulite and makes your adrenal glands burn out? How much is too much?

hmmm, sounds similar to the tales of pushups making women sterile, gymnastics making men short, and basketball making men tall.

Almost certainly way more than you are doing.

If you are training for an Ironman while lifting heavy weights six times a week, then yes, you might be at risk. But I get really tired of hearing people worrying that a brisk walk for half an hour a day will cause over-training or catabolism.

There are a lot of symptoms of adrenal fatigue, not least of which is fatigue. If you literally can't sit down without falling asleep, get checked out. Otherwise, get into the gym.
