    Hi,

My points were burning a hole in my pocket, so I ordered something from the Stars Catalogue. Nothing I actually wanted was available but I ordered something just to use them up.

Now, three months later - there is still no sign of my order.

How long should I expect a delivery to take?!

    JD.

    In my experience, never.

I ordered a keyring for a friend off the site in early January. Never arrived and any queries have never been answered. They use some chancers in the UK as their customer fulfillment company for stars orders and customer support. These chancers are customer support for some other biggish name companies too, its an outsourcing operation.

Eventually I sent an email directly to Nintendo Europe who claimed they would sort it. Got the following

"We are very sorry to hear about the issues you have encountered with ordering a product from Nintendos Stars Catalouge.
We have now forwarded your eMail to the reponsible department and hope for the issue to be resolved as soon as possible.

    Kind regards,

    Marco Marrero

    Communication Center Nintendo Germany www.nintendo.de"

I got a followup mail that claimed there was a problem with the address (there wasn't) and to confirm it through an online form. Did that about a month ago and still nothing.

So basically never expect to see your stuff from the stars catalogue, ever. You can order all you like it will never arrive.

Amazing how bitter you can get over a keyring!

Got the very same message a while back myself.

I'm still waiting and I purchased stuff just before Xmas.

Waited 2 months for a t-shirt. Got an email saying it was sent back to them. They sent it again. 2 months later it actually arrives. Then nintendo deletes all my star points because they upgraded their service. **** you very much nintendo. What kind of ameobiods do they have running that place?

the service is only useful to get 'free' wii points for vc/wiiware games
400 stars = 100 points, robbery of course, but meh.

Yeah, if they are available. For some reason a digital commodity can be sold out.

I remember ordering the Zelda Collection from them a few years ago, it took months to arrive. And they sent me a second one a few months later!

And yes, getting Wii Points from them is a pain, they always seem to be sold out.

Whenever a website asks me for a post code I bung in IRL and it usually works just fine.
