BBC Wild China and Dimbilbey in Russia

    Dont know if anyone else has been following these excellent programmes on BBC. I have seen a few of the russia ones but only saw the wild china one last night. Real good stuff.

    I have the Wild China one Sky +`d but havent watched any episodes yet. I saw the preview of it and it looked really good.

    Was just coming in here to post about Wild China....caught half of it last week but saw all of last nights'...absolutely enthralling stuff. Don't know what else to say. Really well filmed and narrated. Learned a lot of stuff I never knew, particulalry about the tibetan plateau (who could blame China for annexing such an important piece of land?) The bits about the
    moth/fungus/root type thing was fascinating, as was the piece about the mountain that's the axis of the world to Buddhists.
    Haven't caught Dimbleby in Russia...what side's that on?

    Having watched this the last 3 weeks now, I have to say that it's this year's Planet Earth. Last week's show about the silk route and the singing sands was fantastic viewing.
