Was at a party last night and eyeing up this girl who works at the pub we were drinking at beforehand. Ended up chatting to her and getting on great and she tells me how much shes into me and all etc
So, we kiss a bit, then I drink out in garden with other mates for a bit and half an hour later shes getting stuck into this other dude wtf
Rough night anyway but that **** pissed me off. Liked her a lot as well:(
Plenty more fish and all I suppose

Be glad you seen that before you pursued things further I say. Yeah I know it sucks, but as you said, plenty more fish and all you need is one.

Snogging someone does not give you entitlements or ownership.
It could well be that she was just out to have fun or she was making a point and that if you want some
form of relationship with her with a level of exclusivity then you need to ask her out.

Absolutely, I know that, all I'm saying is it didnt make me feel too great, I'm not saying she owed me anything or nothin.

If you like her go to the pub where she works and ask her out on a date.

So hang on, you go to a party, you score, you feck off to the garden with your mate and you're annoyed that the girl didn't sit around waiting for you?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,000 ✭✭✭spinandscribble

well if you know she owed you nothing why is she a bitch? you went off drinking with your mates so she probably thought that was it.

also what was she doing snogging customers at work?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,382 ✭✭✭✭AARRRGH

She's not a bitch, but that kind of behavior would make me run a mile.

Note I'm assuming you told her you'd be back in a bit, and didn't leave her on her own.

    Forget about her...

Only yourself to blame mate for going off talking to your mates,if you were really into her you woulda stayed with her,or atleast wouldn't have left her on her own long enough for her to have time to kiss another guy!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,031 ✭✭✭petethebrick

Ok, I prob shouldnt be saying shes a bitch, you're right. Maybe should just pop in ask her out sometime. I think a big part of it is that Im hungover feeling sorry for myself too^^

I think he meant it was a party afterwards, but she was a barperson in the pub they'd been in beforehand and was at the party as well, not that she was snogging people in work.

while technically correct - there is an issue here that 30 mins later she was mooching another guy.

OP did you tell her you were coming back? maybe she thought you'd gone.

Why is she a bitch? was she like branded and part of your official herd or something? she has every right to kiss whoever she likes, I'd wonder if you were the one that seen a better option and you did it to her would this thread be still running the same way? the only [Title] in this seems to be you IMO.

So you think it's fine for a bird to say to a bloke that she really likes him and get his hopes up only to shoot them down half an hour later because she was "just out to have fun"?

OP don't bother your arse going back to her. I was with someone quite like that before. Save yourself the trouble.

Well...yeah....because he has the same option, Why? do you think she should be punished for that?

Yeah he has the same option, doesn't mean he'll do it though. It's not that i think she should be punished, she's just a bitch for leading him on. Anyone who does that (male or female) is an asshole.

Jayzuz... its no big deal. She kissed you on the first night you spoke, in a bar/party, you could hardly expect her to be hanging around all night. Perfectly normal for someone to kiss more than one person over the course of a night. Doesnt make her a bitch/tramp/slapper... If you like her, ask her out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,093 ✭✭✭TelePaul

    Yep, bitch. Don't fret it.

I don't really have an opinion on the matter at hand, but i'll play devils advocate none the less.

I am curious, say you meet some guy you liked at a party, he told you he like you and you kissed, and you go off with friends for a while and you come back only to find him kissing another girl, you wouldn't be pissed off in the slightest?

Please! If the roles were reversed there would be an ''all men are bastards'' thread.

Whats wrong with that? You were just a random guy she met on a night out. No strings, it wasn't a date.

Oh please. Guys do it all the time, and are met with hi5's and YOU DA MAN! type a cheers from their mates.

    No big deal.

Can't call her a bitch really if it was a random encounter to begin with. Nights out are all about random encounters. if your into her, ask her out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,766 ✭✭✭Reku

Can't say that I feel she did anything wrong, the girl was out for a good time, met you, said she liked you, you disappeared off with your mates so she decided to get back to enjoying her night instead of waiting around in the hope you'd return. As others have said lads do it all the time so why should it be wrong when a girl does it?
Next time at least invite her over to drink with you and your mates, if she genuinely likes you she'll be glad for the invite.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,546 ✭✭✭Enii

So you were talking and getting on well. Then you kissed for a bit. Then she went off and kissed someone else

Maybe she didn't enjoy your kissing technique? I don't think she is a bitch.
