Personal favourites for me would be Glandore, Schull, Union Hall.

I recently stayed the week at a place called crab cottage near Glandore/Rosscarbery. It was dead quiet - you could hear a pin drop at night. Which was exactly what I was looking for. It was a 10 minute stroll to a small pebbly cove. TV reception was very poor so if you like your telly you would be out of luck. Overall I would rate this property very highly.

I've also stayed at the apartments in Inchadoney before and they where grand too. The privately owned apartments are much more reasonable to rent then the pricey hotel owned ones.

But my favourite place i've ever stayed was http://www.dunowencottage.com/index.html near Clonakilty and Galley head. But this place is always well booked out and very pricey. But it is worth it!
