    Howya ..
    Ima huge fan of rap and hip hop and i've always wanted to make my own musik .. alot of beats are running threw my head and i wanna hear dem onda speakers ! and i end up forgetting wat dey go like ..
    I was just wondering does any body know were to get equipment for this in the Dublin region around town. And if anybody knows a rough price aswell. Let me know please .. Tanx :D

    you really only need a half decent computer and some software,,a good starting point would be reason and/or acid...then its just a matter of your creativity,,download a reason demo from the propellerheads website also search youtube for dj babu reason tutorial..proper boh i tell thee..

    Getting an MPC is a big investment if you havnt even got your toes wet yet.
    As J-Bone suggested, get some decent software and let it grow from there.

    if you're not too broke and fancy an mpc just get the 2000xl model to begin with as its cheap and easy to learn, you'll pick one up on ebay easily, its more fun than using software as far as im concerned and it will work out at about the same price as a half decent software package
