What to check

Hi all, I'm going to check out a few bikes this week dealers not private and was wondering what to keep an eye out for.

Apart for the physical aspects of the bike, namely looking clean. All I can think of is:

    Check condition of tyres,
Check condition of chain and sprockets,
Expect the bike to be serviced.

As you can tell I have previously brought new bikes, so I'm not that up on what to check for. Any thoughts much apprecitated.

    Cheers

One thing I learned is don't "Expect the bike to be serviced", if they say they will get it in writing.

I bought a Fireblade from Megabikes and I was told it would be fully serviced amd I found out after a week of driving it they hadn't touched it.
