aerial for rte1, 2, tg4, tv3

    hi all, i have sky in home but want to watch tv in another room, only the basic channels, rte1,2, tv3 and tg4. unless i have phone line i cant get sky multi-room. The indoor aerial will give me a picture but its very snowy, what size or typep of aerial shoudl i be looking for, maybe in b&q or argos. i am living in lusk, co dublin, if that helps.

    I am in Dublin 4 and have a piece of bent coathanger outside my bedroom window, directed towards Three Rock, and get a strong analogue and excellant digital signal. You must have it horizontal and about a one foot loop to form a sausage shape. Simple and effective. I was going to buy a yagi, but this worked so I did not.

    If you are in Lusk you may have a better line of site to the Clermont carn (louth) transmitter. These are all UHF channels and are on the channels shown below:

    RTÉ One Channel 52
    Digital Mux 1 Channel 53
    RTÉ Two Channel 56
    TV3 Channel 66
    TG4 Channel 68
