Backpack for travelling

Something that I can carry on my back when using metros and buses but also something that will withstand airports and baggage holds.

Ideally something with plenty of access points and that if somethings at the bottom of the bag I don't have to take everything out to get to it.

Right now I have a Wynnster Spectrum 75 (I think that's it anyway). It's torn to shreds as I've had it years so this is my main reason for replacing it. My main complaints with it is that it doesn't have enough access. It has 2 side pockets - great. It had one top pocket - torn by someone in a baggage hold somewhere. It has one bottom section, handy. The main section though could only be accessed from the top which made it a pain to get anything out of it.

Any suggestions on a good sturdy rucsack but also something lightweight, cheap and discrete (I don't ask much! :D )? Somewhere to buy it online would be the best option if possible.

    Cheers

You want to get yourself a travel pack. They open up like a suitcase so it's easy to pack and access everything and you can separate the interior into two pockets with both sections having their own access. I'd suggest heading to an outdoor store and finding one which you like and which is comfortable to wear and then looking online. Can't help you with brand as mine is One Planet (excellent brand) which I think is only available in Australia.
