Cancelling Sky for the Summer?

I have heard of other people ringing Sky to cancel their subscription for the summer because they only watch the football and getting offered 3 months half price to try and keep them. Does anyone know if they will still do this?

I downgraded a few weeks ago and i changed my mind yesterday.

When i called yesterday the lady said to hang on that she thought i should be able to avail of the 3month half price offer, she came back and said yes that will be three months half price. I was delighted and i never even asked for it.
