    Hi guys,

Thanks for having a look. Please, always feel free to say what you think:

    Not Baghdad

Rat tat, its aloft and there o another.
Rifles left rip, scatter and zip.
And yet here I am just strolling along,
right next to death rat tatting its song.

Boom blasts from gun and shells lay to crater, but look out,
here comes the sun, what could be greater.

Far off now the battle has seized, yet no screams rise up,
no low bodies fleeced. Put up your arms and park up your tanks.
Wipe down the barrells just like the yanks.

And here I am now at the end of my walk,
snug in my jacket and poetry talk. And how many miles
before the round has a reason, how might I feel, stood, accused of treason?

Now that theyre gone and its quiet again, tucked up in barracks or downing a gin help me to feel and keep in my mind
the suffering and hardship berating mankind.
