Irish Customers Being Ripped Off Why Do We Stand For It

    we are being completely ripped off in ireland.
    On 3 its 49euro:eek: for 350 minutes while in Uk 3 give 300 minutes for 22Euro:D.
    Why do we put up with it? Everyone here should complain to the the minister,regulator and consumer complaints etc

    Always far too enthusiastic when it comes to this sorta lark. Why not have a look at what rates are incurred outside of the bundles 300/350 mins?

    Ireland:

    Voice - 18c per min
    Text - 6c per sms
    Date - 18c per MB

    UK:

    Voice - 12p per min
    Text - 12p per sms

    They aren't ripping you off. While they share the same name, they operate as different companies in very different markets.

    so much more choice and such a massive market in the uk that they'll be able to manage lower rates.

    I don't think you can compare the two countries really.

    Was in the North last weekend

    The ZTE USB modem that 3 were selling here for €175 for Pay as you go broadband is for sale up there for £49.99!!!!!!!!!!! (About €63)
