Just wondering if anyone has ever bought from these guys. They are doing the 16gb Ipod touch for around €290 and naturally I'm a little skeptical, anyone know if this is genuine?

They look okay. They have good feedback but I wouldn't go for that iPod because it has the old firmware which means it doesn't have the new apps like notes and Google Maps. You'd probably get a better price for a 16GB Touch with the new firmware for less if you bid on one rather than Buy-It-Now.

can the firmware be upgraded? Maybe thats why its cheap. I just don't get how anyone can sell them for less than the apple store and make a profit, surely apple wouldn't allow it

You can upgrade but it costs €18. They buy in bulk, thats why they are so cheap. I got an iPod off the Ebay store The Brick Stuff and had no problems. If you search the completed items on Ebay, you will get a rough idea of how much 16GB sells for by auction.

I am going by the picture. I think a power seller would put the new firmware pics up if it had the new firmware but I could be wrong. It could be why they are so cheap also.

he also mentions in the auction listing that it has 1.1.2 firmware.
