Ok I'm a girl, 19 years old, and seeing this amazing guy for the past while. He's definately a lot lot more experienced than me, and yes i feel ready for sex and i will tell him that i'm a virgin when we get there but just wondering if anyone has any other tips at all? I'm a little shy too. i'd be so grateful for any replies!

Just make sure to take things slow, and make sure he's gentle! Relax and enjoy yourself! Also it goes without saying that using protection is essential. If he's been with other people, it would be a good idea for him to get checked out, particularly if you both decide to stop using condoms and just use the pill later on in your relationship.

    Good luck!

I wish you all the luck in the world OP, how wonderfully exciting! Don't expect for the earth to move on your first time but half the fun is in learning and exploring each other's bodies. Keep safe, make sure to carry condoms with you and most of all relax, he sounds like a great guy so enjoy and have fun m'dear!:)

Just leave yourself carried away don't worry and everything will be just fine. It's your decision when you will tell him....before bed, during bed time....

this is like me a year ago! make sure you tell him you're a virgin so he'll be gentle! relax and make sure you're ready! you'll wonder why you worried so much before afterwards :)

I think you should tell him as soon as possible OP; don’t leave it till the last minute, that wouldn’t be a good idea. Your first time is an experience you will not forget, so you don’t want it to be with someone who is not sufficiently clued-in to how sensitive he needs to be. Good luck!

My advice would be to just try and relax and enjoy it - don't worry about performance or anything like that, just let him know in advance. If it hurts a little bit ask him to take it slow, but defo tell him in advance. I told my boyfriend at the time and he was delighted. Good luck!
