TBH unless you're 6 foot 2 and a Brazilian supermodel, that dress will overpower. Monchrome shoes, probably in a purple would look good.

Totally agree. My friend is very tall and has a gorgeous figure. It's the type of dress that you wouldn't want to have any extra pounds to wear it.

yeah was thinkin when i seen the pic if the OP looks like model or is capable of pulling off that dress, wow, anyway, also agree with dudara on the shoes, was thinkin royal blue strappy sandals myself, whichever is closest to the blue/purple bands in the dress...

look closely at pic 1 and you can see the colour sandals the model is wearing.

Okay fess up MOuse, where did you get that dress??? I must have it, I don't care if I have to drop a stone and grow two feet in height to look good in it!

I would go with gold strappy sandals rather than silver, but if you could get a pair in that purpley/bluey colour then all the better.

P.s. The model in the pic seems to be wearing turqoise sandals. Okay, I don't know how to spell Turqoise, that really doesn't look right...

You can get it in Lara on Dame Lane in Dublin for é865 (www.laras.ie) or you can get it over the internet for é350 (plus about é50 was postage). It is made by Jovani and you can look at all their dresses on www.jovani.com.

I've decided to wear it with a pair of dark purple peep toes (with platform to give me extra height) so just have to find a dark purple clutch now.

OMG that dress is gorgeous, good choice on the colour of shoes, but I'd say tbh you'd get away with a lot of colours. Well wear :)

I got a great purple satin clutch in M&S last Christmas to match my dress for the party. Best part was that it only cost €10.

just google Jovani 1494250 and you get a load of american websites that do prom dresses. They ship it to you.

P.S. The dress has to be very tight in order for the top half to stay up. If you are a size 10 over here you need an American size four (or possibly a size three).

I've actually fallen in love with this dress!!! Is Lara's the only place in Ireland where it can be bought? or if there is somewhere else where?
