Just wondering if anyone has any nice recipes for dinner tonight - I have prawns in freezer, pasta and have a tub of creme fraiche in fridge.

Also have lots of spices etc, any ideas appreciated!

hi this is a nice recepie that is easily adapted to whatever ingredients you have, the chillis are optional, depends if you like a little kick in it

    suggested quantities are

    3 tbs olive oil
    3 tbs utter
    4 garlic cloves (chopped)
half a finely diced red pepper
    red chillis to taste
    2 tbs tomato puree
    125 ml dry white wine
    350g prawns
125 mls of double cream (could use creme fraiche instead)

melt butter and oil over a medium heat, add garlic and pepper (and chilli if using it) and cook until the garilic is just coloured, then add the wine and tomato puree and cook for 10 mins

Add the prawns and cook for 2 mins, then add the cream and some salt and pepper and cook for another 2 mins

then serve with pasta and eat immediatelyl ; )
    it's very tasty!
