Unlocking an LG Viewty in Town?

Anyone know where I can get an LG Viewty unlocked?

I remember trying to get my K800 unlocked, went to the wee place that's near the Body Shop (above the joke shop maybe?) and he quoted me like €65 and a few days, whereas I ended up getting an unlock code from my network for €20 and I could use my phone in the meantime.

I got a telephone number from the carphone warehouse to unlock LG phones. Sorry don't have it handy, give them a bell.

There aren't any Carphone Warehouse's in Galway as far as I know. Didn't even know you had them in Ireland!

There are 2 Carphone Warehouses in Galway.

One is upstairs in the Eyre Square shopping centre near Penneys, while the 2nd is in the Headford Road shopping centre (Tescos) near the entrance beside Supermacs.

Western Cellular on the Tuam Road may also be able to help - they are an authorised service centre so they will at least be able to tell u where to go.

There is also a Carphone on Shop st!

The LGs are harder to unlock than standard phones so not sure if you are going to be able to do it very easily.

I bought one of these Viewtys today on ebay. Used, unlocked with an orange logo, €200 inc. p&p.
