howya lads and lassies Recently bought a 120gb lacie rugged usb external hdd http://www.dabs.ie/productview.aspx?QuickLinx=3X4Y Problem is when i connect it to my vista machine it tries to install the driver and then fails to do so!!!! connected to the xp laptop worked perfect and to a friends vista machine and it worked…

Recently bought a 120gb lacie rugged usb external hdd

Problem is when i connect it to my vista machine it tries to install the driver and then fails to do so!!!! connected to the xp laptop worked perfect and to a friends vista machine and it worked perfect!!! his machine is exacalty the same as mine! (god bless aldi!) vista home premium 32bit 1.88ghz duel core intels wit 2 gb ram. the hdd worked when i first got it by ignoring the driver installs ie it just showed up in my computer but not this evening it doin my nut in any one any ideas or im just doin somethin thick!!!!!
