k so few weeks ago today fm ran a competition for the kilkenny cats laugh festival and i just got an email this morning sayin i had won tickets for me and one other (my girlfriend is going before anyone asks or begs) here's the thing though i live in donegal (!) and don't know if it's worth going. it seems to be a breakfast thing or show something like that.

i'm just wondering did anyone else win this this year or last time or anything. is it worth going down is it just a few hours or is it longer with tickets to gigs, the email was fairly sparce with info! Or would i just email back and ask instead?

E-mail is bloody sparse, just tells you to be down there early at 10 for a "coffee". Doesn't mention if it's just for D'arcy's show or not.

Oh, I feel your pain, I'm living in Sligo so I dunno......hmm. Am mighty tempted though!

I went to the festival a few years ago (2003) and it was OK but then it was to see Bill Bailey, Kilkenny is nice I used to spend my holidays down there as a young 'un, it's fecking tiny though.
