i need a new laptop asap was looking at the Acer Aspire 8920G its seams like a good machine for what i need(3D graphics while away from my workstation) and is quite reasonable for the price,
but i want to get it in a shop where i can walk in and purchase on the day...any suggestions for a shop? i know online is cheaper but unfortunately i really don't have the time to wait...and if i can actually find a shop that sells that model for a reasonable price i will pick it up this lunch time.
so can anyone recommend a shop that will stock this machine or even recommend a similar spec laptop in the price range from a different manufacturer?
thanks a million for any help.

Dixons in Jervis MIGHT be worth looking at but they can be pricey. Same with Pete's Electronics on Parnell Street. Some tesco's do very reasonable laptops with ok specs if you want to try those? sorry i can't help more

emmmmm i'm not too familiar with dublin i'm afraid so my knowledge isn't that good.... i can't think of any other places where you could walk in and buy a laptop straight away though.....but i'm sure there must be? I think there's a computer place beside Smyths toystore but i don't know if they do laptops?

Beyond 2000, near Stephens green shopping center, and there is laptop shop in the Sthepens green shopping c. But as the people here say, all of them are a bit pricy.
