Is there a site that shows what you can see above the horizon and dish size at your location ?

http://www.lyngsat-maps.com/ does it the other way around :(

I'm in Dublin. Have just setup LNB's for Hotbird and both Astra's on one dish and have another pair of 80-90 cm dishs to play with

I'm not aware of any website but there is a program called "World of satellites V.3.12". Unfortunatly it's only availlable to subscribers of tele satellite magazine on CD. But there are older versions (data not updatetable) to be found on google.

Basically 45E to 50W unless you have the dish at Middleton or have a 3.7m dish for C band.

    Download free sw from www.smw.se

30W is strong (80) and 42E many strong enough (90)

Your dish is small for 1W.

Must have missed your post. Wasn't aware of the fact that one can download it again.:)
I'm using this neat program for over four years now, and find it very handy esp. while I was on dial-up.

    Ta.

    running (slowly)

This is handy too - if you can see distant landmarks and match them to the map,

don't forget some maps will show ESB Pylons
