Eircom 2mb speeds

Hi all, am downloading files using Limewire (legal ones of course) and I find that my download speeds are ridiculously low - 3kb/s at the moment (the highest I have seen it is 25kb/s). Is their any way of fixing this or even checking whether it is an Eircom problem??

What speed are you syncing at? what speed are you getting on speed tests like www.irishisptest.com
