Hello all, where is good to buy shades in Dublin? These days i buy pairs that cost about 17euro as compared to 250euro a few years back, is there any health benifit to buying expensive ones or do the cheep ones do the same job?

    Penneys €3 aviators FTW!!

the only health benefit of sunglasses is UV protection

the ones i got in penneys [just got them to have in my car, but they actually look great] have 100% UV protection, so as you'd guess you cant beat that :)

The designer ones, you just pay for the name!!

My girlfriend is after a good pair of sunglasses, so thanks for the advice mentioned here folks. I was thinking perhaps of getting her to go to the optician. She'd have a huge range of styles to choose from, lens tints and they should end up being pretty comfortable.

I know it'd perhaps be a little pricey but worth it maybe?

Still much cheaper than Brown - Ripoff - Thomas

    Does she wear glasses?

If so, some nice polarizers would be cool :)
