travelling to cardiff on friday night with ryanair. one of the lads has dropped out so another person is going instead. i know its a 100 euro for a name change and that you have to ring them. have been ringing for the last week and still no joy. left the phone ring today for about 75 mins and still nothing.

if i were to go to the airport could they change it at the ryanair desk or am i wasting my time??? names can be changed up to 4 hrs prior to flying but i'm getting kinda anxious at this stage

You can change the name at the airport if you turn up early enough and they will be more than happy to lighten the load in your wallet for you at the same time.

I wouldnt risk doing it last minute, i actually know someone who they wouldnt let fly to the UK on a drivers licence, even tho it said in black and white it was acceptable. They are a law upon themselves, get it sorted as soon as you can.

Beware that it becomes more and more expensive the longer you leave it. I once went to change the name on a 1cent flight and it cost €292!

    They saw you coming

It costs €100 to change the name 2 months before the flight and it costs €100 to change it 4 hours before the flight. Tis all in the T&C's. It doesn't change the longer you leave it

You were charged for a new booking, not a name change on an existing one.
