Whoo hoo!!! There is another one out there :D

There's so much Cannon & Nikon on boards that I had almost given up hope!

I have an a100 for the past year and a half, I really like it. Most of my shots are with the kit lens which is quite good, however I think I've outgrown it now and am looking at buying more lenses.

Some nice shots there, what lens did you use for these?

I had a Nikon 8800 coolpix and found it slow to pick up action shots of the dogs (ie the girls).

The last shot is with the macro lenses, cant remember which one right now, have better shots with it somewhere will up load them in a minute.

Think the others were with the 18-70mm from what I recall.

I am saving for a flash as cant seem to change it from fill flash so I lose the shot I want.

Yep, another convert here. Just picked up an Alpha 100, and I am seriously impressed with it to date.

I too am in the market for a zoom lens. You may know that Sony took over the Minolta DSLR division in 2005, so, I discovered that all Minolta "A type bayonet mount lens" work on the Sony. This now offers you the option of picking up a half decent Minolta lens Second hand.

Another plus with the Sony is that the "Steady" technology is built into the body, not the lens, like a lot of the competition, so the old Minolta lens are now de facto "Steady" technology - Pretty neat eh? ;)
