Anyone here be able to recommend a good sports massage clinic/masseuse in the Cork region ?
What is the going rate for a good rub these days ?

Also i am preparing for a leg or 2 of the Cork marathon. Should i be getting a rub at least once a week at this stage.
My hips are pretty sore as I near the end of 6/7 miles at the mo, is this my hip flexors telling me they need some care and attention ?

IT bands are another item i presume need flushing out, how often ?

    Hi,

You can find qualified Sports Massage therapists here:

Warm ups and stretching are very important if you are going to train for a marathon. There are loads of sites out there with training tips. From your post you seem to have a little knowledge but the best thing is to consult your therapist to confirm what you think.

    Best of luck with it.

    Regards,

    Mark

I'm not sure of the normal protocols for massage and shorter distances like you're doing but I would look at the overall routine before thinking massage is going to cure things.

IMO, the best (by far) sports massage in Cork is
