Not sure if this was already done, but how was the season just ended (unless you're a fan of Chelsea/Manchester United or a play-off participant club) for your team?

Juventus Couldn't have asked for better, really. Champions League football assured at the first time of asking and without any major expenditure. Particularly nice to see Del Piero back to something approaching decent form and our veteran pairing topping the goalscoring charts. A couple of bright prospects unearthed and the attraction of European football should mean a stronger, rejuvenated squad for next year and maybe a decent crack at the scudetto.

Player of the season: it's hard to look past the reinvigorated captain, Alessandro Del Piero, so I won't.

Marseille All's well that ends well after a frankly bizarre, nail-biter of a season. After a raft of new signings, mainly high-wage premiership flops (Zenden, Cissé, Cheyrou (edit: scratch that, it was brother Bruno who played for Liverpool before joining l'OM, Benoît came this season)) and having sold off virtually all their strikers, Albert Emon's charges found themselves in the relegation dungheap coming up to Christmas. The arrival of gruff Fleming Eric Gerets proved the catalyst and after going on a run showing the the type of form that would have won them the league had they played from day 1, Marseille found themselves 16 places up the table in 3rd. Then it all threatened to go up in smoke as a promising UEFA cup run came to an end after a 3-2 aggregate reverse in Moscow and a series of matches where Les Phocéens sppeared to freeze in the second half allowing opponents to nick one and three points at a worrying rate. It all came good on the final day with a frantic 4-3 victory at home to Strasbourg allowing them overhaul Nancy who came off worst in a 5-goal thriller against Rennes.

Player of the season: Hard to pick just one - no less than six Marseille players made it to the French journalists' team of the season - but the lesser-sung Lorik Cana jsut beats top striker Mammadou Niang and rookie stopper Steven Mandanda to the post for me.
