Tough question, like asking who is better, Beethoven or Bach, but seriously, who is your favorite serial killler? Is it the obvious, Theodore Robert Bundy with all his suave good looks and VW Beetle, or are you more of a Jeffrey Dahmer kinda guy, with his cannibalism and acid baths? The list goes on.

**** never knew that about Dahmer. Probably Richard Ramirez, LA's night stalker. I saw a documentary and read about him. That was some dark ****. He eventually got chased and beaten by citizens. He was an evil ****er.

Hmmm..not sure about this thread..glorifying serial killers?!

    Anyway, this always fascinated me:
    red_dot.gif The Zodiac Killer:
The notorious and very bizarre serial killer who called himself The Zodiac remains one of the world's great unsolved cases. In Oct., 1966, a girl was viciously murdered in Riverside, California when she permitted a man to help start the car that he had intentionally disabled when she was in her school library. This homicide began a ghoulish series of murders that panicked the people of the San Francisco area. For years the Zodiac taunted the police with weird ciphers, phone calls, insulting and cryptic messages.
Even though police investigated over 2,500 potential suspects, the case was never solved. There were a few suspects that stood out, but the forensic technology of the times was not advanced enough to nail any one of them conclusively.

Not really a serial killer, but on the topic of mass murder, Hitler was a great guy. I'm half German and he did a lot for Germany before he started off the Holocaust.

    Yep, I vote Hitler.

Of course, Zodiac is legend among serial killer aficionados. He was never caught, although there was heaps of circumstantial evidence pointing towards a dude called Arthur Leigh Allen. He was a strange guy with a high IQ and a was considered to be a dangerous person by a number of psychologists who evaluated him. Never enough evidence to put him away and he's dead now anyway

    I disagree.

Most of his policies were geared around future resources gained from his conquests in the East.

    Peasant put it well:

Another thing to keep in mind is that the "economic miracle" that he performed (leading Germany out of the aftermath of the great depression) which provided work for almost everybody, was in its entirety financed on the basis that all the money spent / loaned / borrowed / printed and faked would have to be re-couped by waging war and robbing the conquered neighbours.
