i just bought my ps3 with a hdmi cable and a couple of blu ray dvds. When i got home the flatscreen tv only has a dvi input. If i buy a hdmi to dvi cable will it provide bluray quality and will there be sound? thanks in advance.

The picture will be fine but there won't be sound, you'll need to use the red/white phono cables that came with your ps3 or buy an optical cable for sound.

Yes it's HD quality. Around €30 probably.

You'd probably get it cheaper if you look around , with komplett , the shipping would bring it up to 30 anyways.

They'll probably have them, but don't buy a ridiculously priced one. The picture quality will be identical on the cheapest as the most expensive.

I always found peats to be a tad expensive myself !

    http://www.peats.com/cgi-bin/catalog.cgi?view_subcat=1&id=9094&sid=11&cid=153

They are also a " Monster " agent , which is just about the worst thing you can say about anyone selling cables , they are bound to try and spin that " superior digital cable" BS to you.

They have a 100 euro HDMI -DVI cable , a ridiculously priced fraud , in my opinion!

Maplin (beside smyths) or a dixons (probably worse price than peats), just have a shop around and see how much they're selling them for.
