I bought one at an auction, it cost me $40 with an Sunpak Auto 433 AF Thyristor Flash, Hoya UV filter and a Nikon Nikkor 28-80mm F/3.5-5.6D lens. I haven't gotten a chance to try it. Would it be worth what I paid? Thanks. :)

Absolutely! It went by F60 over on this side on the pond. It was at the lower end of the Nikon market, kind of an entry level model.

And to be honest, well it's only $40!

I used to have one, it went with me when traveling in south africa, great camera at that time

the lens alone for 40 dollars is a bargain I'd say

for what it's worth I think I paid about 400punts for one around 8-9 years ago, think it had the same lens.

I got an N80 and batt grip + 34rd party lens for E50 if that's anything to go by..
