Five sets of strings for the guitar and six for bass, three of them 5ers, for just a little over 60 euros, delivered to my door. Bleedin rappah :D

The bass strings could be a bit better, but they're absolutley fine for practicing, they just lose their zing a bit too quickly. The guitar strings are grand, to be honest. I'd have no problem using them full time if they made somethnig I could tune to be, but certainly the 11s tuned to E are spot on.

I got some of them recently. The guitar strings dont look the best but they sound and play fine so far.

I'm still a fan. Just used my last pack from the batch I ordered last year. I'll definitely be ordering more soon.

I threw on a few sets of 99c Harley Benton strings with my latest Thomann order :pac:

Havent tried them yet, but says 'humanmade' on the pack, so they must be good!

Seriously, they look alright, surprisingly well packed for the money. Proper verdict after ive used a few sets..

The webstrings guitar ones are grand if you're just fluting about the house. Their bass B string is a bit crap though, but the guitar ones do the job. Unless I was doing an important gig or serious recording, I think they're fine for general use.

Does humanmade mean irregular wraps and sharp bits sticking out at the ball end? :pac:

It means they're not made by elves anyway, so that's a bit of a disappointment :( I think 'humanmade' must be engrish for handmade ;), it says 'exclusively humanmade for thomann' on the back :D

I havent used them yet, but they look fine, each string is sealed in its own plastic pouch...the strings look the same as any other... I had an order with shipping already covered, so I just threw on a fivers worth for the craic. I'll see what they're like after ive used a few packs, update in a few weeks :)

i love webstrings too, been using them for 2+ years now. they're so cheap that i can afford to change them really regularly so i've never noticed much of a difference (for guitar anyway). only gripe is recently they didn't have any jazz/meds in for ages so i had to play a couple of gigs with a plain g. forgot how much i hate them.

So I restrung one of my guitars with the cheapo thomann strings... except, there was only 5 strings in the packet :o

    Robots 1 Humans 0 :(

    Brilliant :D

Is there a 5 string HB guitar we're not aware of? :pac:

I once got a set of strings where the D was shortscale and the rest were long. :(

I thought this was funny, because the only reason I bought them was to test them out, and give them a fair chance. And the first pack I open is missing a string :D

Ah well, missing string or not, for 99c a pack, if nothing else, they'll do as spares or odd strings. But definitely don't order one single pack and take it as spares to that gig in the middle of nowhere ;)

I used to get strings from ESP Uk and there was seven in the pack - they always included a spare high e string.

Anyway, 20 packs of strings for €45. Happy days.
