Just a quick bump for this.

The tournament is now available in the lobby under the tournament lobby screen -> Daily -> Private: WIT Poker - Exclusive $500 Added

Just to reiterate, the cost of entry is $15+1.50 with Bodog adding $500 to the prizepool. Anyone who still has the tournament credits they received for playing in the WIT Poker Open can use them to enter in this tournament.

NB: There is a password for this tournament which was sent out to all players who played the WIT Event and fully registered with Bodog. If you haven't received an email PM me and I'll forward you on the password

What about d ppl who couldn't play in the last tournament that we were all told we were all eligible to play in. Me thinks they should reward those players with a free entry into this one :p

Final bump for this. Struggling to get numbers but hopefully with the weather being the way it is, it might encourage a few to play it.

Anyway, because the tournament is dangerously close to not going ahead due to not meeting the minimum amount of players, I'm posting the password here:
    Password: witinvite2

The tournament starts @ 6:05PM, which is only an hour away!

    1 minute to go...

    will it be cancelled ??

It's cancelled by the software, not by me. I have no control over a minimum number of players unfortunately.

This whole Bodog effort is fecking comical..
So they run a tournie for a set of players who played in waterford, then half of them can't get in....
then they run a tournie TO MAKE AMMENDS and this is canceled due to a shortfall in players when no such condition was previously stipulated.

They couldn't fk things up worse if they tried,i'm sure players from all over will be flocking there to play.

    very very harsh imo

it may not have been clearly stated in the thread, but when I received the password for this, it was made clear to me that it would need 20 players and its fine to be informed that way considering it was a private tournament.

as i've said its a shame and would really be great if this could get run at another time

not overly harsh at all, plain facts.
When a tournie is advertised here surely this is where to state it.
Btw no fault on Murderer He's obviously doing his very best but Bodog aren't.

doing their best to what? give us more free money? they helped organise an excellent live event, put on a $10 FO that we had $25 in tourney credits to use and know they've tried to put on this and all these tournament had money added

obviously this would be ideal, but Murderer didnt include it, he probably forgot, or maybe he didnt think it was possible that 20 people wouldnt be up for this

Firstly I'd like to say sorry to everyone for this event not going ahead as scheduled. Unfortunately when I was requesting this tournament, I didn't change the minimum player numbers from the default of 20 as I didn't deem it neccessary with emails being sent to ~150 players and texts being sent to a similar number (bringing total to ~300 people) well in advance of the game, I had every reason to believe that the game would reach this requirement. Unfortunately from what I can gather, fundemental changes cannot be made to a tournaments settings once it has appeared in the lobby and once I realised the tournament wouldn't attract sufficient numbers I publicly posted the password.

Once again I'm sorry the event didn't go ahead and I'll make certain to get it right in future.

    Thanks,
    Adam
