A quick search will reveal at least 3 threads started by me on this subject! :p

HIGNFY is on a 00.30 hrs, or tomorrow on BBC2 in its extended format which I prefer I have to say.

The Blessed edition was cracking, he has no ability to be embarrassed - just bigger than life itself.

Weirdly BBC NI were going to to show a repeat of some current affairs programme at 9 pm on Monday rather than a brand new episode of Waking the Dead - then someone realised how stupid that would be and swapped the progs around. They really are parochical dopes up there.

    Mike.

I'd say it was postponed as a mark of respect because Robert Dunlop (Top NI Motorcyclist) was killed last night in a practice session for one of the biggest Motorcycle races in Northern Ireland.

Will need to watch the extended version tomorrow night instead. Just watched the Brian Blessed episode. Truely bizzare.

Denis gives the answer to what happened and people keep winging underneath
Program changes because of death of NI sporting legend type fella
Motorcycles are a big deal to a lot of the northies!

If you have Sky you can tune in one of the English regions of BBC1.

Get yourself a non Sky satellite dish (Lidl do them from time time for ~ €80). You can watch all the proper BBC, ITV channels, Sky News, Film4, E4 and More4 for free.

No good as you can't use Sky+ to record it.

I also do prefer the extended version to the BBC1 version.

It annoys me that Sky do not also give an option of placing BBC1 London in the EPG. It could be hidden away in the 900's but at least it could be used to get around BBC NI's stupid scheduling.
