    ...you look at this trailer:
    (WARNING:CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS)

This is not fanmade trailer, or one stolen from the production company or anything like that, this is one I saw in Dundrum cinema last week and I have to wonder, who do they expect would now pay to see Hulk seeing as the trailers gives away so many plot points in (what seems like) chronological order? Its like cliff notes for the film, its madness.
Does any one if its the directors that normally make up trailers, or the producers or someone else? Who do you blame for this?

Yeh, unfortunately caught that one in the cinema last week, running before Ironman.

Seems pretty much like a 2min plot synopsis - any point in seeing the actual film now....hmmm, dunno.

That third Spiderman 3 trailer last summer did the exact same thing.

still think it looks deadly though.Looking forward to it, apparently there are a couple of surprises in it too, like other villians that pop up in it.

I dunno, I love Norton and all but I'm not remotely interested in this. I actually *gasp* didn't think the Ang Lee version was that bad. :D

yeah, I liked the Ang Lee one too.Didn't have a problem with any of it apart from the cgi dogs. Not a massive Hulk fan but since Norton got involved been looking forward to it.Even if the plot ain't great hopefully there'll be some great super, smashing, great fights.

do you really think people go to see movies like the hulk or spiderman for plot?

that's like complaining that supermodels are skinny and good looking.

Look, I wasn't really expecting Hulk to be the same kind of plot as "The Usual Suspects" but with Gabriel Byrne turning green and pummeling someone every five minutes, but to have a trailer that seems to give away pretty much every possible plot point just ruins the film.

I've heard that the last twenty minutes is supposed to be one big fight scene, so at least the whole scene might not have been ruined.

    I loved Ang Lee's Hulk!!

Yeah yeah, make fun but its a quality film!! I thought he really captured the tortured psyche of Banner, and the sfx were great!

ANYWAY...this film looks like its got the gravitas AND some serious action...a 26 minute fight between The Hulk and The Abomination.

    Yes please!

The trailer for Ironman was the same.

I hated the Ang Lee version of hulk btw.

How do you know this has ruined the entire plot/ the whole fight sequence without seeing the film?

Was that a subtle nod to the original theme tune at the end of the trailer???

I don't know for sure, but I can't see the film having some massive twists that put the clips under a different light than in the trailer. (Even if the plot points in the film end up a different order than than the trailer, it still shows way too much of them)

I'll still go see it. Looks like a good way to waste a few hours. I liked Ang Lee's hulk film a lot btw.
