so my ipod broke and i got a creative zen to replace it. the only problem is all my songs are on itunes and when i try and transfer them(click and drag) it says that "the file type you are copying is not supported by your player"
any ideas on how to fix this???

Are they tracks you ripped from your own collection or did you purchase DRM-riddled tracks off the iTunes store?

a couple of downloads but the rest are from cds. it seems to only take the downloads and what i have on windows media player(which isnt much).

Well the downloads won't work unless you got them off iTunes Plus. I'm guessing your player supports MS's DRM technology so those tracks should be OK.

Does dragging-and-dropping work when you try doing it from Windows Explorer, as opposed to iTunes?

That's for getting MTP compatible devices to work on macs/linux... which is not the issue here.
