    Hi All

I purchased my Nokia 6300 and relisied that a normal set of headphones would could not be used on it :-(
So i went out and spent a rip-off E25 a basic nokia set!!

About a month later they started falling apart. There are rubber removal heads on the earpireces, and once these are off they just fall apart. Obviously as they are so small and light (the rubber heads), i had'nt noticed when they fell out.

I then bought a new set of Rip-off Nokia headphones again.
4 weeks later i noticed one of the rubber heads is gone again!!
They are gonna fall apart without this.

I went bcak with them this time to the shop i bought them in.
They said they would not cover them and that the manafacturer warranty
would not either as i didnt have the missing rubber piece.

Its not like I using them all the time or been rough with them.
I'm convinced they are designed in this way so as to make people buy them.

I'm seriously considering lodging a claim in the small claims court out of principle.

    Any Ideas people?
On both the headphones and my chances in court?

    Thanks

I symapthise with you, the build quality on those things is rubbish.

I tried to slip as many back to the supplier as possible, but strictly I wasn't supposed to as the only way it can get damaged is "customer" damage.

I'm unsure how far you would get in the smallclaims court with that.

    Where did you buy them?

If it were O2, for example, I would say your next step is to contact O2 retails Head office.

Always exhaust the companies opportunity to resolve your issue before going to court.

    Cheers for the reply SDooM.

I bought it in O2, I'll try contacting their head office as suggested.

Can you get an adapter to use regular 3.5 headphones?

Make sure its the retail head office not the networks or you'll be left waiting (its an extra layer of bureacracy, separate companies see,)

Yes you can but its a bit bulky. I totally agree with langer123, they are fairly poor quality, I'm on my second pair.

I think nokia have realised that the small connection earphones wern't a sucess, they've a regular size connection in new nokia 5310.
