Now my Brothers and Brotherettes, I mean not to cause you alarm but it has come to my attention that going to your first Beers is not the only use of condensed milk.

    I know, it's a bit of a shock.

How did I find this out? Well, my wimmins got an ice cream maker which had a recipe book in it. When she made the first batch of ice cream, it was feckin lovely. In order to receive more of this delicious food stuff in the future, I had to pretend to be interested. So I say, "what did you need to make it". Came the reply, "Only cream and.......condensed milk".

    You heard it here first.

I reckon Brother Des will be taking himself off to Power City to check out the ice cream makers this weekend.

Home made brown bread ice cream is quality stuff all right. The McCambridge's stuff you can buy (or at least used to, haven't seen it in ages) isn't anywhere near as good.

Yeah seemingly the recipe book has that in it too. I thought she was taking the pish but she was then told by about four different people that it's apprently really nice. Guess that's next on the list so.

interesting *rubs chin, pats belly, wipes brow*
Must pass on this info to herself, what would be the name and model of this contraption?

Oh, and what's condensed milk, is that not the stuff they feed to babies after they drank the mammy dry?

As a wimmin, I know that you can use condensed milk for lots of deserts - it's essential for Banoffi pie (mmm)

Brother Jester and anybody else who may be interested.

This contraption is called Magimix Le Glacier. It was a present so not sure from whence it came, but it was in a Debenhams bag, which may or may not be a clue.

What I do is boil some soup, poach an egg in it and serve it with a pork pie sausage roll.

You can make liquers with condensed milk. Get some proper 95% vodka and mix in choc syrup and condensed milk for high strength shooters, none of this 17% baileys crap.
