Best pizza in the world, bar none, is roast chicken & pesto sauce... from that place in Dun Laoire. I think it's called Bit's and Pizza's. Haven't been for a while, but it's always, always good.

Next best pizza in the world a small chain called "Perfect Pizza", in Hastings, England ... not only are their pizza's excellent, they give you complimentary garlicky dough-balls. nyom

Third best pizza's in the world are made by an Italian lady who is the grandmother of the man who owns a chain of chip-shops in Dublin ... my buddy has worked for the family for 15 years, and once a year this lady makes an authentic 'peasant' pizza, with chicken, ham, peas, mushrooms and white wine sauce (she uses truffle oil in real life!)

Fourth best pizza in the world is mrs trouts home made chicken & ham pizza.

I will eat pizza from the chains ... but I am almost always left feeling a little bit cheated.

Kebab pizza tis yer only man if ya can get one. Normally beef, chicken and mushroom from domino's is great but you gotta have the garlic dip too. Thats a must lads and ladettes

Just earlier, I had a frozen Pizza Apollo. Cut up some left over salami I had, cut up two chilis and added them with some more cheese. My nose is still running



IMO, the BGRH sentiment of 'no veg' need not apply to pizzas, unless its a vegetarian pizza. If anything, veg like chilis can help separate the men from the metros.

And absolutely no pineapple.

I gotta agree with this, especially on a deep pan base with extra cheese and chilli flakes aswell as the peppers.

Also, has anyone tried the Chicago Town pizza with double pepperoni that has tomato sauce in the crust? Best home pizza I've ever tasted. NOM!

I agree almost completely (I'd include the pineapple) but NO Jalapeno Peppers especially in excess! I ordered from Mizzoni's the other night and got Jalapenos with a bit pizza on top of it. Destroyed the bog completely.

Pineapple's no worse than sweetcorn and how many get that? Quite a lot in my experience.

I tried to order a chicken and sweetcorn pizza for my mate as part of a phone order in Chicago. The lad at the other end thought I was winding him up and literally laughed at me. He even turned to the other people he was working with and shouted "Hey guys this crazy Irish bastard wants sweetcorn on his pizza! Bahahahaha!!!." I've never felt so ridiculed in all my life and the feckin thing wasn't even for me!

dominos know me by now... when i ring all i have to say is my name and they send me a 12 inch pizza with every meat on the menu except salami cause its wimpey and extra cheese along with a few cans of beer...

After a Dominos i always feel like ive just been robbed so lately have been making my own pizza! sirloin steak, mozzarela and chedder cheese. Wash it all down with at least 8 heinys

Having lived in Italy for a year, i'm a complete pizza snob and cannot eat the sh1te they serve up here. Having said that Milano's do a decent pizza.

@Monkeyfudge, have eaten nutella pizzas before, straight from a wood fired oven. Delicious. Lads don't knock it until you've tried it.

Oh and pineapple on pizza = straight fail imo.

Fruit has absolutely no place on a pizza. Anyone remember the Tesco pizza counters that had mandarin orange to go on aswell? Used to work there when I was in college and could never take anyone seriously who got bleedin orange on a pizza :mad:
