Everyone seems to be passing Jerpoint Abbey. I was reared down the road a little bit. When I was young you could clime up to the top of the tower but your not allowed anymore. I like the flower one but it could be perhaps a little brighter when a little more DOF.

no 1 - is ok. I think it can be difficult to get exceptional images from low angles (sometimes it does work/can work). Maybe too much stone with little contrast (composition rather than image processing)

no 2 - it all seems very grey (might be my notorious laptop display) - not sure that i like the conversion to b/w. It could do with more contrast i'd say but just wondering what was the thinking with the b/w idea? I'm guessing (and could be completely wrong) that it was clear blue sky, with some green grass visible and lots of old stone? It may have been good just the way it was - only you'll be able to decide that one for yourself. The angle of the take breaks the horizon - that can work well depending on the type of shot. You have a strong line on the top of the wall which serves to emphasise the horizon and the uneven nature of it. I'm undecided on that one as to whether it works or not - it maybe an angle which some people will love and for others it won't appeal. It certainly breaks the straight horizon rule but thats not necessarily a bad thing either.

no 3 - the flower is nice - appropriate depth of field achieved (imho). nice focal point. A softness to it which is good given the subject matter. Yep - i like this one.

    Hope thats of use,

The colour version seems better to me! But the grass isn't green enough... to much shadows....

The flower is nice, with just the right DOF I think... but as el_loco_blanco says, it's a bit dark... I think your camera might have underexposed the shot a bit as it thought the big bright white flower was the sun or something!!??

In my opinion, white flowers don't really do it for me. I need COLOUR!!!

Like this flower pic here.... Colourful flowers look better imo...

The colour version is deffo better. The one thing though about that photo that I have problems with is the top of the wall. In your photo the top of your wall is your horizon. I think it would look better if that wall went horizontal across the picture. Go inside though some day. Its even better in there.

    Colour version is far better.
I find B&W is only better for gigs or the type of pics TheBaz takes.
